The so-called “love affair” between Vijayawada MP Lagadapati Rajagopal and Telangana Rashtra Samithi president K Chandrasekhara Rao seems to be continuing, notwithstanding the criticism from the Telugu Desam Party.
Lagadapati on Friday was all praise for KCR for declaring that he would adopt the Gandhian way to fight for the Telangana state after December 31. “It is a commendable announcement. I would love him for taking such a decision. In fact, anybody who follows the Gandhian path to fight for his or her demand should be appreciated,” he said.
He, however, refused to elaborate when asked how far the love affair between him and KCR had reached. “I am talking about KCR’s Gandhian approach,” he said.
The TDP, however, lashed out at KCR’s love towards Lagadapati. “Earlier, KCR used to say that he would kiss even a leprosy patient if he supported Telangana. Now, he appears to have given up the idea and is now keen on kissing Lagadapati,” TDP leader E Dayakar Rao said.
